About
Welcome to Little Fifteen, a charming establishment nestled in the heart of Wigan at 17-19 Wallgate. This cozy spot is not just a place to eat; it’s a delightful sensory experience that combines unique decor with a tantalizing menu. One step inside, and you’re greeted by quirky paintings adorning the ceiling that set the mood for an inviting visit.
Little Fifteen specializes in an array of delicious sandwiches, each crafted with care. Imagine sinking your teeth into a toasted ciabatta filled with gooey goat’s cheese, paired beautifully with caramelized onions and roasted red peppers. Or perhaps you're tempted by the Coronation prawns, which offer a savory punch that’s hard to resist. The menu offers something for every palate, from the zesty Tandoori chicken flatbread with refreshing coriander and mint raita to the rich pancetta, mushroom, and mozzarella ciabatta. A meal here is more than just food; it's an experience that resonates with flavors and comforting textures.
Don’t overlook the sides either! The hand-out chips and dirty fries, loaded with salsa and cheese, could easily be a meal on their own. And for those cozy evenings, the garlic bread is a must-try, perfectly crispy and flavorful, ideal for sharing or indulging in solo.
Patrons rave about the ambient atmosphere, with reviews praising the warm, welcoming vibe that feels like stepping into a scene from an old movie. As Roman Gudkov notes, it's a place where you can unwind with friends, enjoying generous portions of hot and tasty dishes. From live music that enhances the dining experience to the cozy decor that sparks conversation, Little Fifteen is not to be missed.
While some may find service a bit slow during peak times, the friendly staff and the vibe more than compensate for any minor hiccups. Laura’s experience echoes this sentiment, highlighting how the beautiful setting makes it a perfect choice for gatherings with family and friends.
In summary, Little Fifteen is the quintessential spot for lovers of good food and unique atmosphere. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, you’ll leave with satisfied taste buds and a smile. If you find yourself in Wigan, be sure to stop by and see for yourself why this delightful food haven is gaining such rave reviews.
“ First time visiting this establishment, and the atmosphere is interesting and unique due to the paintings on the ceiling. The portions are generous, and the dishes were hot and delicious. If you're looking to relax with friends in a beautiful place with a tasty menu, this is definitely the spot for you. ”
“ Lovely little pub. Guiness not too bad but going up in price, 5.50 / pint now. Still a quirky little place while waiting for a train home. ”
“ It is a fantastic place, live music, and the design of the pub is amazing, you can feel like in an old movie, i love this place ”
“ This place was just beautiful. The atmosphere was incredible. We went for a end of year do so there was at least 20 of us. I'm not sure the kitchen had enough ovens or space or whatever as the food did come out in sort of dribs and drabs but it all came out eventually and was really lovely. The staff were friendly and the place beautiful. So you can kind of forgive eating at different times in a big group. I would definitely go back with family for sure which is why I've given such high marks despite the teeny issue. ”
“ Lovely and cosy. Had a glass of wine and pizza. Pizza was lovely, hand stretched and full of flavour. The decor in this place is so quirky. There are plenty of things to look at. ”
“ I had a meal here with some friends and it was fantastic. I've got a bunch of food intolerances which can always be a worry when going out to eat but the staff here were really accommodating and never made me feel like I was being a bother or anything. The food itself was great and the service top notch, would highly recommend. ”
“ My son loves it in here. Whenever we come into Wigan, he wants to come in for pizza as ‘it’s the best pizza ever’ in his words. He feels safe in here as an autistic child. The staff are all lovely and really helpful. It’s clean and has a lovely atmosphere even when very busy. It’s our go to place when in Wigan ”
“ Great place and staff. Always feel welcome when I have drinks here. Food is snacky stuff but good and they have some great deals on. ”
